i’m in the middle of moving this blog over to a different one because there are people i don’t want to follow following and i hit the follow limit so i’ll finish blog moving in two hours until then i will be on rwby blog and video games
“Oh, I see. Xehdot wahc (horned girl), I do not believe I can help you anymore then. All that business is out of my reach. I am not a magic-using being, my world just possesses such materials.” She rubbed her forehead. “I’m only suggesting you should look elsewhere now. He isn’t in my palace, and I am not so certain about in the market place or anywhere else. He could be lost there or something.”
The queen was starting to think she couldn’t be bothered with this anymore, and maybe she should just send the girl on her way. Again, the queen didn’t want to be a babysitter. What happened to her and her friend didn’t concern her or her kingdom. They didn’t even belong in this world from the sound of it.
Right. There probably wasn’t anything else this lady could do to help her. Oh well. She could either take her time in this place, wherever it was, or go back to trying to find him right away. She figured it’d be easier to let the queen person decide whether she cared if she stayed around a while longer or not.
"I’m not in a rush or anything, since he’s probably not going anywhere. If you want me to leave, though, I will. This place sounds interesting, and I could probably learn some new stuff here I wouldn’t be able to learn in Japan.”
“That is….rather…unusual..” The queen sort of halfheartedly laughed, thinking that might be the cause now. “Touh (dear), I do believe you should have that friend of yours on a leash or something, if that’s the case. If you enter and leave worlds like that, which I believe since this world is like any other with magic in it, then he’d be jumping between many others too, would he not?”
She sighed, a bit annoyed like. Balina truly felt like she was babysitting now.
“Hard as it is, your friend could be even more lost that you think, again, if that’s the case.”
It’d only happened twice in about four or five months, so that might not be the case. Besides, she was the one who was lost originally when he did what he did before they were separated.
“He’s an idiot, but not so much that he wouldn’t realize the way back was the way he got there. And he wasn’t really lost, I was, so I went out looking for him. He’d better not be looking for me, though. He’s got college to take care of.” Not that she was really sure what college was, just that he went there every day before that happened.
“Well… that would be something good to practice so I am ready for such a moment…”
“Akari-chan~”
Well aside from the extremely red bobbing of Akari’s head, Chinatsu had pretty much a silent girl before her. She had little idea what to do with her in such a state. Then again, her friend did basically pass out from their first practice so this was slightly more alive. “You’re silly, Akari-chan.” The pinkette merely stated before just leaning back and relaxing. “So… umm wanna watch a movie or something?” Anything to end the awkward silence would be nice.
A movie? That’d hopefully help calm her down some. Unless it was like the last time they watched a movie and it ended up being a scary movie. That’d probably be worse than whatever it was that made her so red right now. Nodding again, she got up and headed towards the living room and where the movies were, so they’d be able to pick one out. She had a couple in her room, but there was more choices there.
“Mm. Well, I don’t know this Japan place that you speak of… Is there any other way I can help you find your friend?”
The queen was surely at a lose of ideas on how to help Musha. The situation was sort of out of her hands with odd characters and far off places she’s never heard of.
And now she was confused again. Did she end up going through another portal like when she ended up in that place called Beacon where people thought she was something called a Faunus and some of them treated her badly because of it? Probably. But how she did so without noticing, she wasn’t sure.
“If someone finds a weird glowing door thing that appears in midair, it’d be a lot of help to know about that, since that’s probably how I got wherever we are. One of those should help me get back to Japan so I could keep looking for him.”
“Well, you should only address me as your queen..but I guess I can make an exception for you, since you come from someplace else, far away, apparently. My name is Balina Te.”
The queen bowed properly when giving her name, for it was formal and polite and sort of mandatory for a queen.
“So what do you want to do about this problem with finding your friend? If he can’t get around without being seen, then he can’t be here. Perhaps he is elsewhere then?”
That was an odd name, but she hadn’t seemed very not-odd since she’d wandered in here, so whatever.
“Nice to meet you, then, Balina.” That was how someone was supposed to respond to that, wasn’t it? She still wasn’t completely sure how most social situations worked. “I’ll probably just keep wandering around Japan until it seems familiar. I should be able to find him then. Dunno the name of the place he lives in, though, so names don’t help.” Except if you’re not in Japan, in which case names help a lot.
Something that bothers me that I think I should point out is when people pick on people who RP other people’s OCs if they are not getting the character spot on or nearly spot on.
Now, I’m sorry for ranting about this at all but feel it’s something that needs to be said- just about everyone on tumblr is RPing a very popular OC if you think about it, since all characters start off as OCs everyone is basically RPing one.
But they’re getting [character name] completely wrong!
No, stop that. As long as they’re trying to get the character accurate or unless their an AU there’s something called development over RP that happens. As you can see, ‘canon’ characters on tumblr are evolved over RPs as well: they get in relationships, their personality develops, etc. Basically, no two RP accounts are exactly the same for each has different headcanons to add onto the canon information. This gives you no reason to insult people for this unless you really want to just say that to every RPer ever.
Also, there’s the fact that almost always not everything is revealed about a character. There’s BOUND to be varying headcanons for that sole reason, adding variety to the way each person sees or plays a character.
What if the creator doesn’t want them playing [character name]!?
That’s the thing though. If a character is popular enough or liked enough to the point it gets an RP blog that shouldn’t really been taken as an insult unless they’re ignoring absolutely every drop of canon information possible. Unless the creator literally says they don’t want people RPing their character somewhere it’s bound to happen eventually either way.
There’s also the option of asking if it’s okay, but then there’s the fact if the person isn’t a good friend of the character’s creator they might just get ignored and left hanging on a cliff wondering if they should or not, plus it’s not like anyone asks usually unless it really is a friend.
I really hate the way this person portrays [this character]!
keep your mouth shut about it then. Unless you’re going to give constructive criticism which is highly acceptable, remember that RPing is just for fun and really you have no right to send anyone hate for a dumb-ass reason like this. Just back off and keep your opinions to yourself.
and if you're receiving hate, just delete it and ignore it, I’m sure you’re doing a splendid time RPing the character as long as your having fun.
I think that’s all i have to say for now, feel free to signal boost this, i’m just really tired of seeing people (including myself) get so scared about RPing other people’s OCs or really… RP in general.
